FREE CPD RESOURCE - Teaching For Mastery in Mathematics
Over the past two years Deep Learning TSA have been conducting a research study alongside Cumbria University. The study explores what impact a mastery approach has on mathematical mindsets and on classroom strategies.
The attached CPD document contains some outcomes from the study. This includes guidance and discussion material for schools to use when implementing or developing a mastery approach in mathematics. There are two short videos that can be used to prompt reflective discussion about mastery and mathematics teaching.
